EXERCISE THE WEAK SIDE

In many instances there is a clear imbalance between one side and the other. One knee may be weak, one shoulder may be painful, one leg may be not as strong as the other, one arm may not reach as well as the other. It is important that this imbalance not become worse. And if possible, rectify the situation.

Suppose one knee is weak or painful if moved the wrong way. The goal is to find exercises that correct the everyday movement that is causing the problem. Perhaps the foot is turned out, or the step is not pushing the knee fully forward, or the knee is caving in. Why exercise the other knee? Fix the problem knee. It is this that will limit your life.
