Purpose:
To strengthen a weak leg and become aware of using it. To teach balanced support for the upper body. To relax the shoulders.

To teach alignment and flexibility of the feet and legs. To strengthen the upper leg and lower back. To loosen a tense leg.
Develop face and neck muscles and relax back muscles. Note subtle stretching sensation as it progresses downward on both sides of the spine.
Learn to move legs in a relaxed smooth manner; develop leg and abdominal muscles.
To teach straight positioning of the feet. To strengthen the knees, ankles, and the back of the legs.
To relax the neck and shoulders. To provide a sample and relaxing exercise that promotes good posture good balance and flexibility.
